LGTON LAW APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
Overview
The Firm’s Apprenticeship Program is designed to immerse law students in the realities of legal work, providing early practical exposure to the professional discipline and responsibility expected of a lawyer. Apprentices work alongside lawyers on actual matters across litigation, corporate, and regulatory practice.
What You’ll Gain
- Practical experience in real cases and accounts
- Training in legal research, writing, and analysis
- Exposure to multiple areas of law or a chosen specialization
- Direct mentorship from partners and senior associates
Program Structure
Recognizing that students enter the program with different goals, LGTON offers two pathways:
- A cross-practice track, where apprentices are exposed to a wide range of legal fields from actual client engagements; or
- A focused track, for those seeking deeper immersion in a particular field such as litigation, corporate and regulatory work, or labor and employment.
The program runs on a full onsite basis in the Firm’s Makati and Pasig offices, ensuring that apprentices experience the pace and environment of professional practice. Depending on their availability, apprentices may complete the program on a full-time (240 hours) or part-time (120 hours) basis.
Who We Look For
- Open to 3rd and 4th year law students.
Our Commitment
LGTON Law is committed to developing future lawyers through a program that balances rigor with mentorship. Apprentices are treated not as observers, but as active contributors.
